If you plan on selling your home soon, you’re better off working with an agent who has a team behind them than one who works alone.

Real estate teams have resources for both their agents and clients, and they have built-in systems to facilitate the listing process. Everything that’s done is done intentionally. For example, a listing coordinator is a common staff member you’ll find on a team, and they do the detailed work of listing a home, including ordering photos, scheduling a staging consultation, and making sure your home is listed properly on the MLS.

Teams have a formulated marketing plan to get your home sold.

Teams also have support staff. In addition to the listing coordinator, there’s also a transaction coordinator who’ll help your Realtor get the transaction to closing smoothly. A marketing coordinator is another common position found on teams, and their job is to get your home all the visibility it needs to sell, meaning they’ll coordinate Facebook ads, Zillow marketing, and video.

Finally, teams have a formulated marketing plan to get your home sold, and they’ll spend a lot more time and money than individuals agents.
