About Raquel Hanson

I was born and raised in Minnesota, with a few short moves along the way, but this has always been home. I’m a relationship-driven Realtor who believes real estate is about people first and homes second.

I care deeply about the stories, milestones, and emotions tied to every move, and I bring that perspective into every client experience.

Before real estate, I spent many years as a makeup artist and hairstylist, and later stepped into a full-time role as a stay-at-home mom for five years.

That season of life deeply shaped me and gave me a strong understanding of family dynamics, transitions, and what truly matters when choosing a home.

I was drawn to real estate because I genuinely loved looking at homes and was encouraged by my husband to pursue it as our youngest headed off to school. Real estate allows me to connect with people, help families through meaningful transitions, and still be present for my own family. I love hearing people’s stories and helping them find the right place for their next chapter.

What sets me apart is that I’m not sales-y—I’m just me. I value honesty, real connection, and long-term relationships, and I stay in touch with my clients well beyond closing. I’ve helped first-time buyers, growing families, empty nesters, and those navigating tough transitions. To me, a home is never just four walls and a roof—it holds everything.

I want my clients to remember me as trustworthy, dependable, and easy to work with—someone who brought calm, clarity, and even a little fun to the process.

Outside of real estate, my life is full and busy in the best way. I have five kids, two Boykin Spaniels, a deep love for coffee, mystery novels, crafting, kayaking, and hosting gatherings where the house is full of laughter and shoes by the door.
