About Phil Valley
I grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated high school in Hawley, PA before heading west to attend school in Santa Barbara. At 18, I made the move to California, where I spent over a decade before relocating to Minnesota at 30. Today, I’m proud to call the North Loop home.
Before getting into real estate, I worked in the wine industry — an experience that sharpened my ability to understand people’s tastes, negotiate strategically, and deliver a high level of service.
But I was ultimately drawn to real estate because it combines my entrepreneurial spirit with the opportunity to help people create a place they truly call home. A home is more than a transaction — it’s where life happens. Being trusted with that decision is something I take seriously and genuinely enjoy.
As a transplant to the Twin Cities with East Coast roots, I bring a strong blend of local market insight and sharp negotiation skills to every transaction. My East Coast upbringing shaped a results-driven, tenacious approach to negotiating, while my years in California added a calm, measured perspective. The result is a unique balance of East Coast toughness and West Coast calm — delivering a smooth, strategic, and rewarding experience whether you’re buying or selling.

Personally and professionally, my goal is simple: to become the best version of myself and improve every single day. Outside of real estate, I prioritize staying physically active and spending time in nature. Whether I’m hiking, snowboarding, or boxing, I believe pushing myself physically helps me show up stronger for my clients and in every area of life.
