About Emily Lutz

Hello, I'm Emily! I grew up in Grand Rapids and, after spending time in Northern Wisconsin along the shores of Lake Superior as well as the Twin Cities, felt a strong pull to return home and build my life in the community that raised me. I graduated from Northland College in Ashland, WI with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Those experiences broadened my perspective while reinforcing how special it is to call Northern Minnesota home.   Before real estate, I worked as an on-site chemist at the Washington County Environmental Center and later ran my own business, MemSTAR Studio, helping families preserve memories by converting home videos to digital formats. My passion for real estate began when my husband and I began searching for our first home and I experienced firsthand how exciting and empowering the process can be with the right guidance.

What sets me apart is that I’ve recently navigated the buying process myself. I understand how intimidating it can feel, and I’m committed to making every step clear, manageable, and stress-free. I strive to provide a professional, supportive experience while keeping things personable and approachable.

My goal is always to provide a positive, low-stress experience while using local knowledge to help clients see opportunities throughout the process. Real estate, to me, it’s about building community and helping people find the right place to call home.

Outside of real estate, you’ll often find me outdoors camping, hiking, or kayaking whenever I can. I also enjoy volunteering in the community, hosting board game nights, and creating through multiple mediums, including participating in local art events. I recently became a mom, which has deepened my appreciation for home, community, and helping others find the right place to grow.
