About Charissa Harms-Ertl

Charissa grew up in Willmar, Minnesota, where her strong sense of community and work ethic were first shaped. She graduated from Willmar High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Cloud State University.

Before entering real estate, Charissa spent her career as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, a role that required compassion, precision, and the ability to guide people through some of life’s most emotional and high-stakes moments.

Her transition into real estate was driven by a long-standing interest in homes, floor plans, and design, as well as a desire to help people find spaces where lifelong memories are made. Charissa was also motivated by the flexibility real estate offers, allowing her to be more present for her children and actively participate in their lives. She values the opportunity to build a business where hard work directly impacts both client outcomes and personal growth.

What sets Charissa apart is her unwavering commitment to putting her clients’ goals ahead of any commission. She leads every transaction with honesty, professional integrity, and a strong sense of fiduciary responsibility. Charissa believes her clients should feel heard, informed, and involved at every step of the process, and she takes pride in making sure they fully understand each part of the transaction while receiving the highest level of care and advocacy.

Looking ahead, Charissa is focused on building a sustainable, high-performing business while creating long-term security for her family. Her goals include consistently earning six figures, closing 30 or more transactions each year, and implementing systems that streamline her workflow. Outside of real estate, Charissa enjoys staying active, watching her kids play sports, solving puzzles and games, camping, and making the most of Minnesota summers with her family.
